George is a member of the ICAEW (the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales) and ICPAC (The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus). He trained as a UK Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He also holds a BSc Degree in Computer Science & Accounting from Manchester University and an MSc Degree in Shipping, Trade & Finance from City University Business School, London. He is a member of ITPA (The International Tax Planning Association) and IFA (International Fiscal Association).
George has many years of professional experience working in the audit and tax departments of big accountancy firms such as PWC and Deloitte, where he worked as an audit and tax manager managing the tax affairs of international clients. He also worked in the banking sector and as a financial controller of an international group of companies, where he was responsible for international tax matters, financial control, consolidations and structuring overseas projects.
George possesses valuable international experience since part of his career was spent in overseas countries.
Currently George is engaged in tax assignments serving Sollers clients. He provides advice with regards to tax efficient structures using entities formed in various tax efficient jurisdictions. He also provides tax consultancy advice to international law firms and also handles the international tax and corporate affairs of big international groups.
George is fluent in English and Greek and has a good knowledge of the Russian language.
